You might say I’ve got a fragile eggshell exterior, but inside I’m hard-boiled. And only refers to myself with food metaphors. Host of wine n comedy podcast The Wine Situation!
Have some (filmed) comedy:

Now that that is over let’s talk about me in third person:

Ellen Clifford is an actress, improviser, dancer and occasional contortionist round town here in (far too sunny for her goth-at-heart soul) Los Angeles.

Favorite roles have included

*Grace in the Chiller Network’s “Chilling Visions”

*Cookie in “Cookie Monster”

*Her web series (duh):

*Herself and multiple characters in “FLAT: a play about flat breasts and everything else that’s great in life” which Ellen wrote and received Honorable Mention for in the New Works of Merit Playwriting Contest

She has trained with Brad Henke, The Art Of Acting’s Don K. Williams, BGB’s Tim Conlon, the Groundlings and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade. She can be found running about the indie improv and sketch comedy scene performing at UCB, iO, IMPRO, the Clubhouse and really wherever there is a spot of free stage for her to tread.

When not frolicking to ballet class or auditions Ellen is frolicking with wine–having passed her WSET Advanced level exam makes her a Certified Wine Snob. She is attempting to put this knowledge into practice in The Whine Situation, a comedy and wine podcast. She attempts to be unsnobby about wine as well as makes mixology messes or fun fun fun things like pie, and writes about it on her cooking blog Scrumptious Gruel and in her cooking column The Book Cook over at Hello Giggles.
