You might say she’s got a fragile eggshell exterior with hard-boiled insides. And only refers to herself with food metaphors.
And then there is her web series:
Ellen Clifford is an actress, improviser, dancer and occasional contortionist round town here in (far too sunny for her goth-at-heart soul) Los Angeles.
Favorite roles have included
*Grace in the Chiller Network’s “Chilling Visions”
*Cookie in “Cookie Monster”
*Vivie Warren in “Mrs. Warren’s Profession”
*Herself and multiple characters in “FLAT: a play about flat breasts and everything else that’s great in life” which Ellen wrote and received Honorable Mention for in the New Works of Merit Playwriting Contest
She has trained with Brad Henke, The Art Of Acting’s Don K. Williams, the Groundlings and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade. Her improv team Big Mick, comprised of fellow UCB grads, performs here, there, and not yet everywhere but we are getting there.
When not frolicking to ballet class or auditions Ellen is frolicking with vegetables, pies (and sometimes vegetable pies), and making mixology messes in her kitchen then writing about it on her cooking blog Scrumptious Gruel and in her literary eats column The Book Cook over at Hello Giggles.
